Compass spotlight: 2018
As we head into 2019, Liz and I are celebrating Compass's achievements over the past year. Here are the key highlights:
Our reach is growing.
In addition to opening in brand new markets, Compass joined forces with some incredible brokerages last year. Going forward, our collaborative, coast-to-coast presence will represent even greater value for buyers and sellers. Liz and I have already used our referral network with clients and agents from Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Nashville, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Philadelphia.
We've put our money where your home is.
Compass is affecting individual agents and clients in more concrete ways, as well. They've introduced a program called Concierge, which pays the up-front costs for contractors, so that sellers don't have to. This allows you to realize your home's highest sale value through recommended improvements without having to pay up-front costs. Pretty cool, huh?
Compass is much more than real estate agents, and that matters.
In the last 12 months, Compass welcomed nearly 7,000 amazing people into our offices. These world-class leaders, technologists, and marketers made the cut (our acceptance rate was only 0.8% company-wide), and will empower us to better serve our clients (you!) for years to come.
